Riders will travel to the aiport to Killarney to meet their guide and companions.
Today’s ride starts at the Seefin Mountain base and riders will climb Seefin Mountain as they reach Windy Gap which houses a remarkable view of Caragh Lake. After, you will continue your ride, crossing lush pastures while passing charming Irish villages in the countryside. Riders will trot along the country side as they reach Coomasaharn Lake, a breathtaking body of water surrounded by Horseshoe Mountain. You will reach Glenbeigh by evening, and this is your final destination for the night. Glenbeigh is a truly unique village as it is surrounded by brilliant views of River Behy and the strand of Rossbeigh. Riders will have the option to visit Winn’s Folly Castle located nearby.
On today’s ride, you will gallop across Rossbeigh beach as you travel over the golden sands of Ireland. As you cross Rossbeigh beach, look out for the 100 year old tower, the guiding point for ships entering Castlemain Harbour a century ago. The surrounding Dingle and Iveragh peninsulas are sites sure to make this ride unforgettable! Riders will enjoy a beachside lunch, followed by a brisk gallop as you make your way to your resting point for the evening.
Riders will travel through the bogs of Cnoc Bawn and Liss bawn as you travel from Kells Station after breakfast. Your canter continues on to see brilliant views of Caherciveen, then followed by lunch along a forest grove. After, you will travel to the lush Inny Valley and Tulligane Woods making your way to the coastal village of Waterville where riders will spend the evening. This village is known as “the Little Whirlpool” as Ireland’s first Celtic invaders are rumored to have landed here first, leaving behind many archaeological remains to be discovered. This coastal village is situated on a thin strip of land just between Lough Currane and the Atlantic Ocean.
This morning ride is filled with adventure exploring the Tulligane Woods. After picnicking along the beautiful Inny River, your ride will continue beside the shores of Lough Currane, the home of a famous fishing lake.
The day begins with an invigorating trot to Waterville beach where riders will gallop along the sand shores of the coast. The trails brings you past historic farmhouses as you ride to Hogs Head, following the skyline of the blue and green Ballinkellias Bay.
Riders will travel to the airport after breakfast.
